Dallice (rhymes with 'Alice') Tylee posted two excellent accounts of B2OSH XXVI on her blog site, complete with lots of photos. Thank you, Dallice!

2013 AOPA Greatest Show
Earlier this year I made an absolute decision: regardless of any obstacles, commitments or obligations, I was going to visit Pilots Mecca. Every year for five years something has cropped up to prevent me from going and so this year I applied my trademark determination to make it happen. I
organised a media pass and posted on Facebook, ‘My gosh, I'm going to Osh,' which somehow solidified the decision. And then great things began to happen.

2013 AOPA B2OSH
“How would you fancy flying into Oshkosh in a Bonanza formation?” asked Bas Scheffers of OzRunways. Knowing my penchant for the beautiful Beech, the answer was obvious: it would be the aeronautical equivalent of winning a luxury holiday; it would be the most stylish and
exciting way to begin the greatest show on earth! Before I drowned him in enthusiasm, Bas gave me the address of Larry Gaines, coordinator of B2Osh – a group of around 120 Bonanzas and Barons who make the trip from Rockford, Illinois every year

OMG! So excited! The day was finally here. I had a GoPro installed, camera in hand and perma-grin on my face. Good to go in right seat, co-pilot position.

As we get better and better at this, the annual review becomes less of a review and more of a ‘thank you' letter. After the Mud Bowl of 2010, AKA “Sploshkosh”, it was great to see 110 Bonanzas & Barons lined up on the runway at Rockford. On the runway at RFD is, by unanimous decree, the most exciting time for B2OSH. Which is as it should be. Nobody really wants excitement during the formation flight to Oshkosh.

2010
How do we review an event that, in the eyes of some, did not happen? I argue that our event DID happen, and with ultimately glorious results. Brevity is impossible. I apologize for the length of this. Here's how it went:
Due to heavy rains and flooding, the General Aviation parking & camping area (AKA The North 40) could not handle aircraft and the Bonanzas to Oshkosh arrival was cancelled. Everyone had fingers crossed that a couple dry days would improve field conditions in parts of the North 40 on relatively higher ground, but hopeful forecasts of "warm & sunny" gave way to another deluge.

Bonanzas to Oshkosh XIX was, perhaps, the best ever in every respect. Pleasant weather and uncommonly cool and smooth air prevailed as 85 Bonanzas and 8 Barons flew the world's largest annual formation of civilian aircraft from Rockford, Illinois to the world's greatest aviation exposition – AirVenture Oshkosh!

2007 - Oh My Gosh, What an Osh
2007, Oh My Gosh, What an Osh - “MAYDAY, MAYDAY, MAYDAY.” Did I really hear that? My first year as leader of Bonanzas to Oshkosh and I'm hearing a distress call in our flight! What could be worse?
The stricken Bonanza's pilot, Kelly McBride, transmitted that he had partial power .....

2006 was, perhaps, most notable for the pleasantness of the experience, weather playing a large factor.

Each year brings its own surprises and rewards. This year was no exception. We had the largest formation since the record breaking year, the best parties, the best raffle, the most notable AirVenture experience and the longest duration, most severe thunderstorm I can remember.

2004 - Bonanza and Mooney Pilots Celebrate Mass Arrival
Probably the most distinguishing characteristic of B2OSH 2004 is that it will be a tough act to follow. Are you bugged by all the insects that splatter on your airplane as you make your way to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh? One group of pilots has done away with that problem, thanks to an enterprising young lady and her specialized service: the “Oshwash.”
